Description:	Orchids are one of the most popular flowers of all time. They have incredible scent and are stunning to look at. Plant growers have been fascinated with orchids for years and with so many different varieties and such an array of colours it’s not surprising. The names of Orchids are almost as amazing as their colours with the most popular being the Phalaenopsis or Moth Orchid. This particular type of Orchid tends to grow very well in modern day homes and offices. This particular photograph of an Orchid has been taken inside with sunlight shining through a window. This has really brought out the pink colours and the contrast between the surrounding creams and whites. Photographs of Orchids can be very interesting especially when taking macro photographs of Orchids. This is mainly due to the stamen and the leaves.
