| Description: | Barnstaple clock tower has been a landmark for North Devonians for generations and has told a different time on its four faces for many years. It has often been known as the four faced liar. The clock tower was erected in 1862 as a memorial to Prince Albert. This photograph of the clock tower was shot late at night using a slow shutter speed, you can see a light trail in the lower 1/3 of the picture, and this was a bus as it passed by. In the background of this picture of Barnstaple clock tower you can see Barnstaple museum which is host to regular exhibitions by local photographers and artists.
