| Description: | A lovely rural sunset This is a fantastic picture of a rural sunset. The fence on the left and right leads you very well into the shot and draw your eye to the wonderful colours that are created at sunset. This rural sunset photograph was taken at Iron Cross near Berrynarbour in North Devon by Andy Wheatly. Andy is often seen trampling around the countryside in this area as it offers unparalled views of the North Devon countryside. Sunset photos are a favourite for photographers of all abilities, the colours that are produced when the sun sets are fantastic and really transform the landscape. Andy has taken a number of rural sunsets from around this area and further on towards Exmoor, here with the added elevation the view of amazing. On a clear day you can get incredible sunset pictures of the North Devon landscape. This countryside sunset picture shows how the sun can light up the clouds and add colour to what may normally be a slightly flat image. If you took the same picture when the sun was much higher in the sky with similar cloud cover the affect would not be nearly as interesting. As the sun starts to go down it cast light over the landscape illuminating the fields and hills, this makes the landscape come alive with colour and is a reason why so many people travel to the south west each summer.
