Description:	Hartland is a small village near the coast of North Devon. Hartland Point is where the coast of Devon turns from North facing to West facing and the Atlantic Ocean. This photograph of Hartland shows the Church of Saint Nectan in Stoke in the background. In the foreground of this Hartland photograph you can see an old ruin; this is the focal point of this landscape photograph. Hartland has a lot of history attached to it and was a very important port rite up until the Tudor times. There are a number of shipwrecks along this stretch of coast which can also create fantastic opportunities for landscape photos. Hartland is the centre for walks along the North Devon Coast Path and provides a unique view of the North Devon landscape and stunning views of Lundy Island. This picture of the Hartland Ruins was captured along the coast path and shows just one example of the fantastic landscape photos that can be acquired.
